NRS 6474 Primary Care of the Family III
This course continues the clinical sequence for Family Nurse Practitioner students, emphasizing comprehensive care for individuals and families with complex health conditions across the lifespan. Students advance skills in assessment, diagnostic reasoning, and clinical management, integrating developmental, physical, and psycho-social health considerations. Students work with preceptors in diverse primary care settings to refine clinical decision-making, manage acute and chronic conditions, and apply professional, ethical, and population-based approaches to optimize patient outcomes. Requires 192 direct care practicum hours. PREREQUISITES: NRS 6434, NRS 6442
