Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership (120 hrs.)
Trine University will prepare students enrolled in the Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership (BSOL) for leadership roles in corporate and non-profit sectors. Organizations in a variety of industries seek leaders who can diagnose problems, motivate and inspire employees, implement change, and create innovative solutions to problems. In keeping with the mission of Trine University to “succeed, lead and serve,” BSOL students will identify and exemplify leadership theories that can be applied to today’s increasingly complex organizational environments. These theories will allow students to utilize evidence-based leadership competencies including: critical thinking, interpersonal relations, decision-making and problem solving. In addition, the curriculum focuses on organizational innovation, team dynamics, organizational culture, influence and motivation, conflict resolution, and leadership communication preparing students to enter or advance in the workforce, further their education, and/or make a positive impact in their communities.
