GE 5133 Lean Six Sigma
This graduate-level course explores the principles and applications of Lean Six Sigma methodologies, offering a comprehensive exploration of tools and techniques to optimize and improve processes. Through application of the DMAIC methodology, students will learn to identify process inefficiencies and systematically improve them to meet or exceed the Voice of the Customer (VOC). The curriculum emphasizes the selection and application of statistical tools and data analysis techniques essential for informed decision-making within Lean Six Sigma projects. Students will further delve into project and change management methodologies, demonstrating the skills to effectively plan, execute, and sustain Lean Six Sigma initiatives while managing organizational resistance to change.
