ENG 433 Shakespeare & His Times

Students will read at least eight of Shakespeare's plays from a variety of genres. Discussion will include a variety of theoretical lenses, Shakespeare scholarship, the sonnets, and the differences between written texts and performance. Prerequisites: ENG 143, or ENG 133, or ENG 153
