ECE 3043 Auto Electronics

This course introduces students to automotive concepts related to the vehicle power-train, electronic control unit, and other control units, interfacing sensors and loads with control units, and CAN bus communication. Students will identify a variety of power-train configurations; inspect hierarchical automotive wiring diagrams; interpret motor torque-speed curves; and appraise CAN communication protocols. Prerequisite ECE 213 or ES 253
