BIO 352 Data Science in Chemistry and Biology

This course introduces students to data science methods applied to chemistry and biology. Students will learn how molecules and biomolecules can be represented numerically, how to prepare and analyze chemical and biological datasets, and how to apply machine learning models to predict molecular and biological properties. Students will complete a final project applying data science methods to a dataset of their choice. Same as CH 352. Prerequisite: CH 204
