PSY 303 Research Methods in Psychology
An introduction to research methods employed in psychology, with special emphasis on experimental design. Topics include between- and within-subjects designs, quasi-experimental designs, threats to internal, external, construct, and statistical validity, and research ethics. Students will also learn procedures for controlling extraneous variables and apply basic statistical analyses to evaluate association and causal claims. Prerequisite: PSY 113
