MAE 373 Computer-Aided Machine Design
Use of computer applications software as a part of the engineering design process. Introduction to the finite element method for stress analysis. Software packages, such as nonlinear solvers, finite element analysis, solid modeling, and kinematic simulation, will be introduced. Design work using these tools will be a major component of the course. Corequisite:
