COM 243 Digital Media Creation

Students examine and practice how to create and craft stories and content using various forms of digital media. Students have the opportunity to capture photo, video, and audio content, and edit and produce using industry standard software from the Adobe Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere. Students will be introduced to principles of visual communication through lectures and class projects and will review and implement best practices and laws that impact media use and creation. Prerequisite: COM 303 or Permission from Instructor and/or Chair
