CE 4913 Capstone Design II

The culminating capstone design experience for Civil Engineering majors showcases program outcomes. Students work as a team utilizing project management strategies to investigate, examine, and formulate design solutions for a civil or environmental engineering problem. Designs incorporate acquired classroom knowledge, out-of-class learning, and sustainability concepts to simulate a "real world" design experience. A written report and a formal group presentation must effectively communicate design solutions to stakeholders and engineering professionals. Prerequisite: This course must be taken the semester immediately following CE 4911.
