UE 102 University Experience for Pre-Nursing Students
This course is designed to prepare pre-nursing students for academic and professional success at Trine University and in future nursing programs. Students will explore their educational goals, develop effective strategies for organization, time management, and studying, and identify the requirements of the nursing major. Emphasis is placed on applied ethics in academic integrity, patient care, and professional conduct. The course also strengthens core academic skills assessed on the TEAS exam, including reading comprehension, quantitative reasoning, and foundational concepts in anatomy, physiology, and scientific inquiry. Through guided practice, reflection, and application, students will build the knowledge, habits, and confidence necessary for success in both their university experience and nursing careers.
