SUR 243 Surgical Procedures III
This course prepares students to analyze surgical procedures comprehensively, emphasizing anticipation of the surgeon’s needs. Students are trained to think critically and sequentially through surgical procedures, recognizing key steps, potential complications, and appropriate instrumentation. Content focuses on otorhinolaryngologic, ophthalmic, oral and maxillofacial surgeries, plastics, and reconstructive surgeries.
