PSY 3043 Clinical Child & Adolescent Psychopathology

Advanced study of child and adolescent psychopathology. Focuses on theory, research, etiology, assessment, and diagnosis of mental disorders using the current edition of the DSM. Includes identification of symptoms, diagnostic classification, and basic differential diagnosis. Examines biological, environmental, and cultural influences, as well as evidence-based interventions and prevention strategies. Prerequisite: PSY 113
