SUR 218 Clinical Experience III
This course offers students hands-on learning opportunities in a real-world setting. It is conducted in surgical facilities and provides students with clinical experience with a variety of pre-, intra-, and post-operative assignments. Students will have opportunities to observe and assist in associated departments (L&D, endoscopy, and SPD). In the operating room, the course will consist of the student in the observation role with a transition to the second scrub and first scrub roles. Prerequisite: SUR 124, SUR 134 and BIO 224
