The mission of the General Studies program at Trine University is to deliver a flexible and personalized education that equips students with interdisciplinary knowledge and practical skills for success in diverse professional settings. By emphasizing individualized academic planning and a career-centered final project, the program cultivates intellectual growth, adaptability, and a commitment to lifelong learning. Graduates are prepared to excel in their careers and make meaningful contributions to their organizations and communities.
Outcomes
Our program assures that students attain the following outcomes:
1. Demonstrate proficiency in at least two separate academic areas.
2. Synthesize the two focus areas of study into a final project that demonstrates career readiness.
3. Articulate a plan for post-graduation success.
