MA 3123 Honors Game Theory
Games are a fundamental part of human life, both recreational and professional. This course will explore the mathematical theory of two-player games of no chance. Students will learn how to assess a game’s strategy and properties through the use of mathematics, especially combinatorics. The capstone of the course will involve students pursuing original research into a question they devise regarding games. Prerequisite: MA 143 or MA 164 or permission of departmental chair
