DEI 333 Recognizing & Mitigating Unconscious Biases

This course prepares students to recognize and mitigate unconscious biases within the organizations they serve. Students will acknowledge their unconscious beliefs, judgements, and false perceptions of others. Students will also examine the stereotypes and prejudices that exist within organizational cultures and how to overcome these assumptions when making decisions. Additionally, students will identify how to foster impartiality and objectivity in organizations.  Prerequisites: DEI 243 or COM 163
