WS 103 Introduction to Womens Studies
Introduction to Women's Studies offers an interdisciplinary exploration of the psycho-sociological construction of a woman's gender identity. It analyzes the historical progression of gender roles and feminist theory through a confluence of social, cultural, economic, political, geographic, and institutional pressures. The course examines how these components intersect in order to define what it is to be a woman in contemporary times. Prerequisite:
