COM 393 Design Thinking
This course explores theories and methods of design thinking with an emphasis on digital communication. Interdisciplinary and collaborative in nature, design thinking uses a human-centered, divergent thinking approach to creatively investigate, identify, and solve complex problems. Students will participate in a series of problem-solving exercises and project challenges that require innovating existing products and materials by using a holistic design thinking process. MK 373 or
COM 243 or permission of Department Chair
