POLS 343 American Political Thought
A survey and analysis of significant political ideas from colonial times to present. Some of the ideas discussed in the survey include the philosophies of liberalism, conservatism, and pragmatism, as well as the political thinking of such men as Alexander Hamilton, Thomas Jefferson, John C. Calhoun, Henry Thoreau, Herbert Spencer and Lester Ward. (Same as
