MGT 373 Facility Management
This course will expose students to the key concepts of facility management. Topics include identifying core versus non-core business activities, budgeting and resource allocation, short and long term facility maintenance, facility supervision, workplace design, spatial management, energy conservation, construction structures and materials, and building services (sewer/water, gas, energy distribution, heating, ventilation, air conditioning). Students will be exposed to different types of facilities and the specific considerations for each type of facility. Prerequisite:
BA 123 or
PSY 113
