HIS 403 American Constitutional Development

A study of the historical and judicial developments of the Constitution of the United States by analyzing court decisions and the philosophies of the justices of the Supreme Court. Emphasis on the court's role in the development of national economic policy, with a focus on the court's position on civil rights and liberties, political freedom, and social equality. (Same as POLS 403) Prerequisites: POLS 113
