CHE 303 Chemical Engineering Fluid Dynamics
Fluid mechanics applied to chemical processes will be introduced. Topics include fluid statics, rheological properties of fluids, laminar and turbulent flow in compressible and incompressible systems. Transfer equipment will also be introduced as well as the concept of net positive suction head. Fluid transport system design will be included. Prerequisite: C or better in both
CHE 203 and
CHE 212
