CH 204 Organic Chemistry I
A study of the methods of preparation, structure, and characteristic reactions of the more important type of aliphatic compounds, including industrial uses and methods of synthesis. This course also contains a laboratory portion where synthesis and experiments illustrative of the methods used in working with organic compounds are performed. Students must successfully complete both the lab and lecture portions to pass the course. Prerequisite:
CH 114 or
CH 155H
