NRS 423 Biostatistics & Epidemiology
This course examines basic concepts and principles of epidemiology, biostatistics, and preventative medicine related to public health practice. Epidemiological data measures and surveillance are examined. Students will identify statistical tests necessary to answer clinical questions. Principles of primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention are evaluated for appropriateness and efficacy. Prerequisite:
