MA 323 Operations Research
This course introduces students to the formulation of mathematical models used in decision making. Topics include linear and integer programming, network and critical path scheduling, queuing theory, and resource allocation. Emphasis is placed on developing quantitative models for real-world systems and implementing computational methods to obtain optimal or near-optimal solutions. Students will analyze and interpret results in a managerial or engineering context.. Prerequisites: MA 253 or MA 393
