NRS 242 Mental Health Nursing

This course focuses on mental health concepts and issues. Basic mental health concepts and issues examined include cultural beliefs, legal and ethic issues, therapeutic nurse-client communication and relationship, factors affecting health and wellness of client with common psychiatric health needs and disorders. Prerequisites: BIO 224 and NRS 113 and NRS 132 and NRS 133; Corequisite: NRS 241
